Marina Bay, Singapore. I spent an hour scouting for decent locations and came across this spot from the Gardens side. This offered a great view of the Hotel, reflections and Singapore Flyer in the background.
Lyndoch, Australia. These star trails were created from around 50 individual exposures taken over a couple of hours and then stacked. I used torches to light-paint the house .. and add the smiley face :-)
Parliament Building, Budapest. Impressive by day, I decided to revisit for a night shoot. The long exposure not only captured car lights but a fascinating pattern of Gulls circling overhead and illuminated by the buildings lights.
Eta Carinae Nebula. I’m always amazed at what sits above our very heads. This is a composite of around 30 x 30 second exposures on a tracking Telescope (Celestron C8), taken from my backyard.

Marina Bay, Singapore. The Helix Bridge leads the eye into this scene which also features the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and ArtScience centre. Three beautifully designed structures.
Yarra River, Melbourne, Australia. This elevated view taken at dusk really shows off this vibrant city and river precinct.
Moon. This particular shot was taken through a Celestron C8 telescope. It reveals the amazing details of impact craters and Mons (Mountain) ranges that pockmark our closest celestial neighbour.
Orion Nebula. This gaseous region of space is where stars are born . The shot is a composite of around 30 x 30 second exposures on a tracking Telescope (Celestron C8), taken from my backyard.
Sydney, Australia. This colourful view of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge was taken during the Vivid Festival which features 100’s of immersive light installations and projections. The shot reveals interesting details such the rivets used in the bridges construction, around 6 million in total.
Adelaide, Australia. Built in the 1920’s this hall previously used for church activities and ballet has been converted to a contemporary home. A slow shutter speed, cloud movement and lighting from the moon created an interesting atmosphere.
Sydney, Australia. This long exposure reveals the colorful lighting and projections of the annual Vivid Festival.
